Villa Castaño was built with a specific kind of stay in mind and that shows in how the house is laid out, how the pool sits, how the bedrooms are divided and how quiet the surrounding street stays after ten in the evening. Some weeks fit the house naturally. Others don’t. This page is where we say which is which, so you don’t have to guess.

Golf and padel groups

Four to eight of you, a mix of tee times and court bookings, and a week you'd rather not spend negotiating bathrooms.

Six in the morning. The kettle is on, someone is still asleep in a bedroom on the other side of the house. Kit at the door, tee time in forty minutes at Finca Cortesín. Padel booked for six that evening. You leave without waking anyone.

Families across generations

Grandparents, parents, and children under one roof, each on a different rhythm and each needing to keep it.

Eleven in the morning. The grandparents are reading in the shade of their own terrace. The children are somewhere between the pool and the garden. Their parents are having a coffee they didn't have to make themselves.

Groups of eight friends

A group that's been together long enough to want space from each other by Wednesday, and back together by Thursday night.

Nine in the evening. Four couples at one long table on the terrace, the sea gone dark, the kitchen still holding the heat of a meal you cooked together. No one has checked the group chat in three days.

Villa Castaño sits in a residential neighbourhood, three years old, and looked after by someone who lives close by. That reality shapes what works well here, and one type of stay consistently doesn’t. Saying so on the website saves both sides a week that would have disappointed. If your plans sit closer to the description below than to the three above, Estepona has other places that will suit you better.

Late‑night parties or large events.

The villa sits in a neighbourhood where people live year-round. Quiet hours are respected.

Bachelor or bachelorette trips built around going out.

Estepona is calm by design, and the villa follows that lead. If a nightlife-first week is the goal, you’ll be happier closer to Marbella.

Groups larger than eight.

The house sleeps eight in four en-suites. We don’t add extra beds.
