Booking & payment
Is a deposit required to confirm a booking?
Yes, a security deposit of €1,000. It’s refunded within 7 days after checkout, provided no damage, missing items, or rule violations are found.
Is there a minimum number of nights?
Yes, 5 to 7 nights, depending on the season.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 60 days before arrival for a full refund. Between 60 and 30 days, you get 50% back. Within 30 days, no refund applies. Read our cancellation policy.
Are you licensed to rent out this villa?
Yes, Villa Castaño holds a valid Spanish rental licence (VUT/MA/97645).

Is the villa suitable for guests with limited mobility?
No, the villa isn’t set up for wheelchair access.
Can we bring pets?
No pets, without exception.
Can we smoke at the villa?
No, indoors or outdoors.
How reliable is the wifi?
Starlink internet runs throughout the house, up to 250 Mbps.
Is there equipment for young children?
Yes, baby and toddler equipment is available on request.
Is the pool heated year-round?
The pool is heated. Ask us about the temperature for your dates.
Arrival & your stay
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is between 3 and 8 PM, check-out by 11 AM, both done in person. Read more.
Can we invite visitors during our stay?
The villa is booked for a maximum of 8 guests, and that limit holds for the whole stay. Extra guests or visitors need our prior written permission.
Is there anything included when we arrive?
Yes, every stay includes a welcome package, ready for you at check-in.
Do we need to share ID before arrival?
Yes, all guests share a valid ID with us at least 48 hours before arrival.

Málaga Airport (AGP) is roughly 55 minutes by car.
Is there a beach nearby suitable for children?
Yes, Playa del Cristo is a sheltered bay close by, with shallow, calmer water.
What's the best time of year to visit?
Spring and autumn suit golf best, summer suits families, and winter draws guests escaping colder climates further north.
