Refund policy
This page explains how the security deposit for your stay at Villa Castaño is refunded.
The security deposit
Alongside the rent, a security deposit of €1,000 is required to cover any damage or loss during your stay.
When you get it back
The deposit is refunded within 7 days after checkout, once the house has been checked. If no damage, missing items, or rule violations are found, the full amount is returned.
If something is damaged
Costs for damage, extra cleaning, missing inventory, or a breach of these terms are deducted from the deposit. If the amount exceeds the deposit, the rest is charged separately, and we’ll always let you know what happened and why before anything is deducted.
How you’re refunded
The deposit is returned using the same method you used to pay it.

Amendments
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be communicated before your arrival.
